A string of cylindrical beads, each hand made in polymer clay, arranged randomly on a bright orange cotton cord which can occasionally be glimpsed between the beads.   An off white background is scattered with navy or gray shapes and the result is different every time.

Each piece is handmade so there may be some small differences between the images and your necklace.

70 cm in length.

Polymer clay beads on waxed cotton cord.

Polymer clay is a non-toxic material, made primarily of a type of plastic resin.   It will crack if put under excess pressure, and can be scratched by sharp objects so please bear this in mind when wearing this piece.

Kate Trouw makes elegant jewellery for everyday wear.

Inspired by city shapes and surfaces Kate hand-makes pieces using quiet geometric shapes and soft colours to create relaxed, sculptural works which can be worn every day.   Kate’s work is primarily made from polymer clay which is shaped by hand and then baked in the oven.   This creates a warm, tactile material with a smooth eggshell finish which is soft against your skin.
